ADAPTIVE LOGO DESIGN
I was asked by my client to create a logotype family for a company and its 2 existing products, which could easily grow as other products were planned to be released to the market.
I decided on an adaptive concept would be appropriate for this project.
Molecules are often displayed as a hexagons. Not only is this symbol recognized widely in the scientific environment, where my client belongs to, but it is also very present in nature while representing (organic) connections.
The six sides of the hexagon offer a world of endless possibilities, and this is precisely what made me love this idea so much, that I had to immediately start sketching.
This world of endless possibilities fits adequately to an adaptive logotype system.
After I decided the right message for each one of the products, my sketches evolved into a modern software design world.
MORE LOGO CONCEPTS
To think holistically is a strong skill to create brand design that works online and offline. Alongside strengthening my digital skills, I often like to work analogue by designing branding manuals, style guides, annual reports, corporate stationery, flyers, etc.
